IGAD Urges Restraint and Dialogue in South Sudan Amid Escalating Tensions

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), led by Executive Secretary H.E. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, has voiced serious concerns regarding increasing tensions and armed conflicts in Nasir County, South Sudan. Such disturbances jeopardize the significant progress achieved under the Revitalised Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) and threaten the overall peace in the region.
