Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has accused social media influencers of disseminating falsehoods aimed at undermining government credibility, arguing that genuine protests have morphed into organized cyber-attacks. He stated, “These activities initially sparked by genuine protests by Gen-Z have evolved into organized cyber attacks by a few social media influencers and seek to delegitimize government initiatives.” The Dutch government now faces the challenge of addressing these criticisms while aiming to ensure that the visit serves its diplomatic and economic goals.
