Upon his arrival, he was greeted by French Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Elisabeth Born, Commander of the Paris Military District General Loic Mizon, and other dignitaries.

At Orly International Airport, an official reception was held, featuring the raising of the flags of Uzbekistan and France, along with a guard of honor. A group of Uzbek nationals residing in France welcomed President Mirziyoyev warmly outside the residence assigned to the Uzbek delegation. During this encounter, he engaged in meaningful discussions with them, offering well wishes for their academic and research endeavors.

The primary events of President Mirziyoyev’s visit are set for today, March 12, which will include high-level negotiations at the Elysee Palace. He is also scheduled to meet with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and participate in a roundtable discussion with representatives of prominent French companies and financial institutions.

It is noteworthy that this marks President Mirziyoyev’s third visit to France; his previous visits were in 2018 and 2022, both at the invitation of President Macron.
