President Aoun Stresses Confidence Restoration and Reforms in Lebanon Cabinet Meeting

The delegation also stressed the need to appoint a new governor of the Banque du Liban and to create a centralized data center within the Finance Ministry.
Additionally, President Aoun noted the importance of enacting legislation to amend the banking secrecy law and the bank restructuring law. In terms of regional security, he stated that security agencies are maintaining vigilance regarding developments in Syria to ensure Lebanon’s preparedness.
Moreover, President Aoun announced the release of five Lebanese prisoners detained by Israel during a recent conflict, attributing their return to indirect negotiations.
