Kazakhstan Celebrates Nazym Kyzaibay’s Historic Boxing Achievement

Kazakh boxer Nazym Kyzaibay won her third world title at the 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, becoming Kazakhstan’s first three-time boxing champion. Competing in the 48-kilogram weight category, Kyzaibay emerged victorious against Russia’s Iuliia Chumgalakova in the finals, securing her esteemed place in boxing history.

With this win, Kyzaibay has solidified her status as Kazakhstan’s first three-time world boxing champion, having previously claimed titles in 2014 and 2016.
