He stated that the illegal occupation of Kashmir has been the longest-standing case post-World War II, implicating countries such as the UK, Canada, Belgium, Australia, and the United States as culpable parties.

Jaishankar emphasized the double standards in global governance, especially regarding military coups, pointing out that while such actions are condemned in Myanmar, they are often tolerated in the West. He argued for a reassessment of global dynamics, suggesting that a new framework is necessary for international discourse to reflect current realities.

Furthermore, Jaishankar criticized the inconsistent global stance towards the Taliban, noting that the same group previously regarded as an outlier was later included in significant diplomatic discussions such as those in Doha and Oslo. The Raisina Dialogue, taking place from March 17-19 in New Delhi, serves as a major platform for discourse on geopolitics and geoeconomics, organized by the Observer Research Foundation in conjunction with the Ministry of External Affairs.
