During the Raisina Dialogue 2025 held in New Delhi, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar engaged in significant meetings with foreign ministers from Ukraine, Thailand, and Peru. His discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relationships and cooperative efforts in various sectors, particularly in peace negotiations, digital connectivity, and economic cooperation.

Dr. Jaishankar met with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, expressing appreciation for the insights shared regarding peace negotiations. He emphasized the establishment of a new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai, which aims to bolster bilateral engagement.

In his meeting with Thailand’s Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, Dr. Jaishankar highlighted the productive dialogues on digital and food security cooperation, as well as the BIMSTEC partnership. Their discussions reflect a mutual commitment to strengthening regional ties.

Additionally, Dr. Jaishankar’s interaction with Peruvian Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo centered on exploring deeper political, economic, and infrastructure collaborations. The two also facilitated an agreement between the National Archives of India and the General Archives of Peru for better documentation and information exchange.

The Raisina Dialogue, organized by the Observer Research Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, serves as India’s leading forum on geopolitics and geoeconomics, addressing critical global challenges.
