The NSA has suspended its e-ticketing system for the Ghana vs Chad World Cup Qualifier, requiring fans to buy printed tickets at the gate. This follows ongoing issues with the electronic platform since its launch in 2022. Ticket prices for the match have been established, but designated purchase points are yet to be announced.

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation, represented by the National Sports Authority (NSA), has announced the temporary suspension of its e-ticketing platform for ticket sales. As a result, fans wishing to attend the 2026 World Cup Qualifier between Ghana and Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium will need to purchase printed tickets directly at the venue.

The NSA originally instituted a fully electronic ticketing system in 2022 during a previous World Cup playoff match but has faced ongoing challenges with the system. Issues have included the platform’s failure to properly verify ticket purchases, as well as problems with internet connectivity, leading to its current suspension.

The NSA is yet to disclose specific locations where tickets will be available for the upcoming match on Friday, March 21, 2025, scheduled for 7 PM. Regarding ticket pricing, they have been set as follows: VVIP at GH₵200, VIP at GH₵150, Lower VIP at GH₵100, Osu Stand at GH₵20, and Popular Stand at GH₵10.

In summary, the NSA’s decision to suspend the e-ticketing system reflects ongoing technical difficulties that have hampered its effectiveness since its introduction. As a consequence, fans will need to rely on printed tickets purchased at the gates for the match between Ghana and Chad, with clearly established ticket prices for various seating categories. Further details regarding ticket purchase locations will be provided by the NSA.
