However, the BCB believes that this amount of preparation is insufficient for the upcoming Champions Trophy. Ahmed remarked on recent discussions with the officials from the Afghanistan Cricket Board in Kuala Lumpur regarding the desire to schedule the three matches during their transit to the West Indies. Following the conclusion of the ODI series with Afghanistan, Bangladesh is set to embark on a Caribbean tour that comprises two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20 internationals starting mid-November. As for Afghanistan, they have already participated in eight ODIs this year and after facing Bangladesh, they will proceed to Zimbabwe for a comprehensive series.
